Owned by the Crocé-Spinelli family for four generations, Château Saint-Esprit is located in the heart of Provence on a multi-century estate (12th c.) between Lorgues, Les Arcs sur Argens and Draguignan.
A former place of pilgrimage for the 12th-century Confrérie du Saint-Esprit, the estate's history goes back several hundred years. The vineyard extends over 15 hectares on a 300-meter-high plateau. The terroir, composed of red Trias clay and limestone rocks, is one of the most recognizable in Provence. It expresses itself with vivacity and minerality, giving the Château's wines a major identity. Today, the integration of the 4th generation of the family, the development of the vineyard and the construction of a new vinification cellar make it one of the most dynamic estates in the region.
In their quest for the most faithful expression of this identity, the Crocé-Spinelli family's philosophy is based on respect for the terroir: one of the finest terroirs in Provence, made up of red Triassic clay and limestone rocks.
We produce wines that express the characteristics and identity of the vineyard. We work the soils without using herbicides or pesticides, in our quest to bring out their full expression.
The entire vineyard is certified organic.
