Set on the heights of Draguignan, this domaine of 10 hectares is dedicated to the production of red wines.
Banquet hall rental for private does or business meetings.
The Domaine's winemaking tradition dates back to the 16th century, and it was renamed Rabiega in the 1960s under the aegis of Christiane Rabiega.
In 1986, the Swedish wine and spirits company Vin&Sprit, which has a monopoly on wine imports into Sweden, decided to develop its own winegrowing estate and bought the property.
With the acquisition of Domaine Rabiega, the company aims to perfect its knowledge of the current winemaking process and develop the skills of its employees, who will come to the estate for training.
Initially, the Vin & Sprit experience wasn't really conclusive, but 1988 marked the beginning of a renaissance with the arrival of winemaker Lars Torstenson.
It was in 1993, at a competition, that the estate received general recognition with the 1990 vintage of Cuvée Prestige (Clos Dière cuvée I). Domaine Rabiega established itself as one of Provence's leading wineries, with a reputation for excellence in its Côte de Provence appellation. At the same time, while wines from southeastern France had never competed with the classic wine regions, several producers began to gain recognition. Not only Provence, but also Languedoc-Roussillon are gaining recognition.
