The town hall of Sainte Croix du Verdon in partnership with the association Culture Loisirs et Patrimoine have created a new cultural and heritage space: La Maison de l'Eau et de la Vallée
This museum retraces life in the Verdon valley before the lake was watered and the village was rebuilt.
2 completely renovated rooms offer the following themes:
History of the valley in the old classroom.
- chronological fresco
- interactive terminal
- exhibition of photographs
- video projection, 3 films retrace the history of the village and the valley:
- Life in the valley before the lake (10 minutes)
- Lake Water 1973-1975 (10 minutes)
- reconstruction of the village (10 minutes)
Theme of water under the courtyard (museum space redeveloped)
- A digital screen allowing a virtual tour of the dam.
