Discover Colmars in 1700! In the century of Louis XIV, Colmars was a fortified town with a garrison of soldiers. For the 4th year running, the Maison Musée is taking on the challenge of making Colmars vibrate to the sound of fifes and drums! The day's program includes - a farmers' market - craft demonstrations - street entertainment with museum volunteers - a film workshop with Les Déviants Studio - a screening of the "Colmars 1700" series - readings from the Fables de la Fontaine - tours with the soldier La Boula - theater - musical strolls with the Fifres et Tambours of the 1st Regiment of Provence - shows and fights - themed meals in restaurants, And much, much more! Volunteers and professionals in period costumes welcome you to the streets of the fortified town: soldiers, bugadières, smugglers, blacksmiths, consuls, plague victims, peasants, penitents, merchants, storytellers, prisoners... We hope to make this an unforgettable day.
