From 21 June to 7 September 2025, come and discover the collective exhibition of different artists / craftsmen who are passionate about wood with the ‘Faire du Bois’ sales exhibition at the Galerie de l'Ancien Presbytère!
Skills that resonate!
There are around ten of them, craftsmen and artists working with wood, united by a passion for a living, sensitive material. From dry wood to green wood, from woodturning to sculpture, from marquetry to cabinetmaking, these creators shape the ordinary as well as the exceptional.
Each participant brings their own sensibility, their own relationship with wood, their own way of expressing grain, texture and contrast. Together, they weave a vibrant exhibition in which wood becomes a common language.
On Thursday 17 July 2025 from 10am to 6pm, the famous Escoulen woodturning school in Aiguines (83) will be offering a woodturning demonstration to mark the rhythm of the summer, inviting young and old alike to discover the magic of the gesture.
A whole range of skills, a whole range of worlds!
Everyday objects, decorative pieces, jewellery or furniture: each work is a dialogue between ancestral skills and contemporary creations.
A total of 9 artists and craftspeople will be showcasing their work in a carefully-designed, educational setting.
