Set off to discover an organic farm estate in the heart of the iconic landscapes of the Valensole Plateau, on a scenic countryside walk accompanied by a professional tour guide. During this 2.5-hour guided tour, immerse yourself in the history of the estate and learn about the expertise behind sustainable, organic farming practices that respect and preserve the environment. As you stroll through cultivated fields and protected natural areas, your guide will explain the principles of conservation and extensive agriculture, as well as the unique characteristics of local production. The route takes you through olive groves, almond orchards, and lavender fields that have made the region famous. You will also walk through vineyards producing award-winning rosé and white wines before ending the tour in the cool shade of a pine forest. Throughout the visit, admire a landscape worthy of a masterpiece: the ochre-colored earth contrasts beautifully with the deep blue Provençal sky, while the limestone cliffs of the Luberon and the green-hued mountains create a spectacular backdrop. These luminous landscapes inspired many artists, including Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Cézanne. The tour also offers an introduction to botany, allowing you to discover the estate’s aromatic plants and their benefits. To complete the experience, you will enjoy a small tasting of farm products, including almonds, olive oil, and lavender and lavandin-based products. For wine lovers, a tasting of five wines produced by the estate is available for an additional €8 per person, payable on-site by cash or credit card. Additional experiences can also be arranged, including wine tastings, outdoor massages, lavender distillation demonstrations, and light refreshments available at the estate bar.
