At a time when images are produced in a matter of seconds, retouched, reproduced and consumed at breakneck speed, Niko has chosen a radically different path.
His photographs are created without a camera, using an approach in which light leaves its mark directly. This return to the very essence of photography becomes an act of poetic resistance in the face of the glut of digital images.
