Concert to mark the end of the residency at Ségriès Monastery : the Ségriès Symphony

The Ségriès Symphony: A Musical Journey at the Monastery Dear friends of the Monastery of Ségriès, After a year of silence, the Symphony returns for its fifth edition — and the monastery is reopening its doors for a one-off event: Saturday 26 September between 4 pm and midnight The great journey... Follow the music from place to place, from the cloisters to the chapel, from the gardens to the amphitheatre, until late into the night. This is the Symphony’s traditional format, and capacity is limited. A communal dinner will be served on site, at an additional cost and by reservation. & Sunday 27 September from 2 pm to 4 pm New this year: two hours in the open air in the amphitheatre, to hear what the week has brought to life. Some of the previous day’s creations will be revived there, in a different form. The open-air setting allows us to welcome more people. Before that, a week-long residency: 20 musicians from all corners of the world, joined by collaborating artists — from film, photography and writing — will live and create together at the monastery. Nothing is scripted in advance, and nothing will be performed again. What you will hear will have been invented here, without scores, and will exist only for the duration of the weekend...
