Encounter with our history - Talk on the Resistance and the Maquis in the Haut Var-Verdon region

Through the eyes of a historian and drawing on his knowledge of Provence in the 1940s, Jean-Marie Guillon will look back on this unique period in our history. In particular, he will discuss the context of the era, the stories of the men and women who joined the Resistance, and the role played by our region during this time of struggle and upheaval. This event will provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of our local history, to shine a light on those who shaped it, and to rediscover a part of our historical heritage. A time for sharing and exchange, to keep memories alive and to share the history of our region together.
