Description

On the GR99 trail toward the famous Fayet Tunnels, join us to explore and observe the wildlife of the Verdon with a professional guide.
You’ll be able to spot three species of vultures (griffon, black vulture, and Egyptian vulture), as well as other species such as bearded vultures, rough-legged buzzards, short-toed eagles, and other birds of prey like European sparrowhawks and falcons, with the local LPO Verdon group. Nestled in the heart of the exceptional, unspoiled nature of the Haute-Provence lies the La Ferme des Cavaliers gîte, located on a site managed by the Conservatoire du Littoral. This farm is one of the last remaining “hamlet farms,” characteristic of the traditional architecture of the Provençal Causses. The managers offer participants a snack made with fresh, seasonal products (homemade cake, organic hot drinks, artisanal fruit juices, and seasonal fruit). This is an opportunity to discuss the observations made during the outing and to explore the eco-gîte with the managers. CERTIFIED EVENT
